Compression is all we do.
Midwest Compression is an independent, locally owned supplier of pneumatic compression pumps and compression garments for people living with lymphedema, lipedema and chronic venous conditions. We are not a general medical-supply house that happens to stock compression — it is the whole of what we do, and it is why we can get the fit right.

What we do
Pumps, garments and the paperwork in between
We work with physicians, vascular and wound clinics and lymphedema therapists to get patients the right equipment at the right time — without adding administrative work to your staff. We handle documentation, benefit verification, prior authorization, fitting, billing and appeals.
Compression pumps
Calibrated and non-calibrated pneumatic compression devices, set up so the patient knows how to use them.
Ready-to-wear garments
Off-the-shelf sleeves, stockings, wraps and night garments, measured and fitted in store.
Custom flat knit
Made-to-measure garments for limbs that ready-to-wear will not fit, measured by a Certified Compression Therapist.
Full-service support
Refills, replacement eligibility and warranty. We reach out when you are due rather than waiting for you to call.
Fitting
A private fitting suite and a certified fitter
Most suppliers measure you in a back room, or mail you a garment and hope. We built a private fitting suite at the Richland store so you can be measured properly, in private, by someone who does this every day.
Certified Compression Therapist
Our fitter is a Certified Compression Therapist and takes the measurements for custom flat-knit garments personally.

Measurement and consultation cost nothing and carry no obligation, whether or not you end up ordering through us.
We come to you when we can
A mobile fitter covers some areas for custom garments. Ask us and we will tell you straight away whether yours is covered.
Custom fittings are scheduled once your paperwork is in place. A custom fitting takes real time, so before we book one we need your prescription and provider documentation on file and your insurance benefit verified. Send us the paperwork first — we will confirm your coverage and then call you to set a time. It saves you a wasted trip and a second appointment.
Ready-to-wear is simpler. Sleeves, wraps, stockings and night garments are measured at the store or from measurements your provider supplies. No custom fitter and no advance paperwork needed to come in and be measured.

We are contracted with every leading garment brand, so the recommendation you get is the garment that fits — not the only one we happen to carry.
We supply Bio Compression pumps — made in the USA with a three-year warranty, 21 leg sizes, adjustable leg garments and full pants, plus upper-extremity arm garments and the Biovest for post-mastectomy patients.

Hours and location
Walk in during posted hours with questions, or to be measured for ready-to-wear. Calling ahead is never a bad idea — it makes sure a fitter is on hand when you arrive. Custom garment fittings are scheduled separately, once your paperwork and coverage are confirmed.
