How to Send an Order to Midwest Compression Through Parachute Health

For therapists, physicians and clinic staff

Parachute Health is the fastest way to send us an order. It replaces faxing, keeps all the paperwork in one place and lets you see where an order stands at any time.

Why use Parachute

  • No faxing. Orders and documents reach us directly.

  • Fewer missing pieces. Required fields help you include what insurance needs the first time.

  • Status tracking. See when we've received the order and where it is in the process.

  • Messaging. Send and answer questions about an order in one place, instead of phone tag.

Sending an order

  1. Log in to Parachute Health, or ask us to help your clinic get set up.

  2. Start a new order and enter the patient's information and insurance.

  3. Select Midwest Compression as the supplier.

  4. Choose the products, such as compression garments, wraps or a pneumatic compression pump.

  5. Attach supporting documents: chart notes, limb measurements, therapy notes and the diagnosis code.

  6. Sign and submit. The prescribing provider signs electronically.

Tips for a smooth order

  • Include the ICD-10 diagnosis code and compression level.

  • For custom garments, attach complete measurements taken at the end of the reduction phase.

  • For pumps, attach notes documenting the conservative therapy trial with before-and-after measurements.

  • Watch for our messages in Parachute. A quick reply keeps the order moving.

  • Let the patient know we'll be contacting them.

Don't use Parachute?

That's fine. You can still fax orders or contact us, and we'll make sure we get what we need.
